Welcome to my blog! My intention is to share what I’m learning about. Mostly this will be about or related to Python, which is my love, but it could be anything. I hope that by sharing my progress, I can develop my own understanding more deeply while also helping other people do the same. It’s a win-win!
About me: I’ve been a hobbyist Python programmer for several years, having started playing around with it when I was a teenager. Some of my current projects include experimenting with DeepSpeech, making a starry sky generator, solving code challenges on PyBites, and getting set up on xonsh.
Outside of programming, one of my passions is English. Something about diagramming a sentence—finding all the connections between the words—is really fun. I like to think that, perhaps, it helps me express myself more precisely. As far as the changing of languages goes, I tend toward the descriptive camp.
I’m striving to live a minimal lifestyle, both physically and digitally. Less can be more: less clutter and distractions, more freedom and time for the important parts of life!
